Idiot-Proof Chocolate Mousse
Courtesy of one of my preservation projects, here is a simple, 5 ingredient, chocolate mousse recipe. This is a great make-ahead dessert for a dinner party, or a sweet finish for a Valentine’s dinner.
Yields: 4 x 1/2 cup servings
Ingredients:
1 (3.9oz) package instant chocolate pudding
1 c. whole milk
1 c. whipped topping (such as cool whip)
1 tsp. instant coffee
1 package raspberries
mint leaves, for garnish
Instructions:
Make pudding by package instruction, only using 1 cup of milk. Add instant coffee.
After mixture has chilled in the refrigerator for about 5 minutes, fold in whipped topping.
Transfer mixture to your serving containers, and place back in the fridge until ready to serve.
Remove and top with raspberries, and garnish with a mint sprig before serving.
